Today’s post is on one of my favorites topics, nails trends, and how to up your game this spring. Oh how I love nails, they are the best addition to any style. Not to mention that they can be a style all on their own. Here are the latest takes on the classic manicure, enjoy!
Negative Space
When I first saw this type of design I was blown away. It is just so different from every nail design I’d seen a million times before. So it will definitely step up your nail game! The trick here is to use the negative space on your nail to create this abstract styling. There are tons of ways to do this, and one of my favorites is to do the contrast with nude and white.
Abstract Designs
This trend is similar to the negative space trick, basically, these abstract designs, that can vary from nail to nail are the coolest thing around. Try different shapes and color blocks, even leaving the negative space!
Mismatched Textures
This was a big hit during 2018 Fashion Week. Try mixing up your metallic and chrome polishes, or your matte and gloss. This trend is all about the power clashes so go with whatever feels right. Anything goes with this one!
Neutrals
Neutrals are a timeless fool-proof nail option even in 2018. Try putting a new twist on this trend by working with several different neutral tones. Or you can try a variation on another classic shade like a nude/blush. This is one of my go-to colors!
French Mani with a Twist
This might be the one trend I love the most this spring. A french manicure is a bit dated and so I love this play on it. A lot of designers are doing a designed nail tip, like this checkerboard tip for the Opening Ceremony show.
