This in one of my favorite looks and here is why… I bought this top and at a vintage shop while I was on break from filming a Christmas movie (very small part). I visit this vintage shop as often as I can, because I always find treasures and its so inexpensive. The shop is interesting, because the owners are not especially friendly, and the have a big hairy cat roaming around that they make no apologies for…even when customers have watering eyes and can’t stop sneezing, but that is kind of the appeal of this place…it is what it is. As you walk through their isles and isles of sequin, chiffon, gold, lame’ and polyester, you are taken back by the sounds of Barbra Streisand’s early show tunes blasting over head..and again…this makes the place even more special! This top is more than killer vintage, it holds a memory of a very happy time in my life when I was making strides as an actress and doing something that I had been told I couldn’t…which usually doesn’t resinante well with me. Keep fighting friends!
