A while ago I was watching an episode of The Rachel Zoe Project.  In this one particular scene Rachel was picking fabrics for her new Spring line.  I got a good laugh when a member of her design team brought up pink and she yelled out loud “I F*Ck$NG hate pink!” “Why does everybody want pink?!” Unlike Rachel, I am not anti pink, but I have to say I have never been a huge fan.  Year after year around Valentine’s Day I pull pink out of my closet and force myself to wear it because of the holiday.  Problem with that is, if I don’t love pink then I don’t have many awesome pink pieces to work with.  That leaves me with some sort of pink shrapnel look from my closet that causes me to look average on a day I want to be smoking!

For my future Valentine’s looks when I don’t wear red (love red), I have decided I am going to go with colors/pieces I feel great in! At least my look above has red bottom shoes, right? Semi traditional. Why not be a Valentine trailblazer and go of course a bit?? Setting yourself apart never hurt anyone and it keeps him on his toes.  XO
