The biggest boot trend of the year

It’s the biggest boot trend of the year and Friday the 13th! My kids haven’t stopped reminding me! They are begging me to let them go see Happy Death Day and IT.  At their ages?! Are they crazy?! They’d be in my bed for weeks. Did you know that the fear of Friday is likely rooted in christianity since Jesus was crucified on a Friday?  And that there were 13 apostles and Judas Iscariot (who betrayed Christ) was considered to be the 13th apostle?? Ironic thing is, my boys lucky number is 13 and so is Taylor’s Swift’s.  Maybe it ain’t so bad!

One great thing about Friday the 13th are these incredible red leather knee high boots from Zara.  The over the knee boot trend is alive and well right now….and the bolder the better.  Believe it or not, these shiny red leather boots are somewhat toned down compared to what is hot at the moment.  Check out these hip length dazzlers by Vetements and Manolo Blahnik. They’re crazy town!
