Today I am wearing the dress I get the most compliments on AND it’s on sale! The Waverly crochet, ruffle dress by Sea new York is an absolute August dream. If you’re worried the dress I get the most compliments on is too much of a summer dress, I’ve linked a great fall version in a sunflower yellow tone. It’s so charming! Honestly, with a dress this beautiful, on sale and easy to wear, I would get it now and wear it as long a I could and then save it for the summers ahead.

On another note…the kids are back in school tomorrow! Around my house, this is a really good thing. Although there is nothing I love more than laid back summer evenings with my boys, we all do much better with routine. Every time they mumble and grumble about going back to school, I try to take a moment to talk to them about the value of education. “Education creates choice and choice is freedom!” My efforts may be pure, but they’re not having it! Ha! I just pray that all of my “words of wisdom” sink in at some point. Other moms tell me the lectures do pay off down the road, so I am banking on that.
