A delightful way to end a fantastic first day!

Day one and it already has been a whirlwind!  What a gift to expirience Mercedes Benz Fashion Week for the first time as a blogger.  As long as I keep pretending like I know what I am doing, I will make it though ;)!  I was so fortunate to attend the Chromat fall 2014 runway show; such incredible geometry and theatrics.  The entire show had a very modern/futuristic vibe with a dash of dark.  If the pieces look familiar, that is becasue Mrs. Carter (Beyonce) wore one of their pieces in the 2013 Super Bowl half time show and I have been told that Shakira and Rhianna are wearing Chromat in their new steamy video (I haven’t seen it yet).  What a cool way to start the week!

After chromat, the vibe changed completely by going to the Erin Fetherston Fall 2014 presentation.  I briefly spoke with Erin and she said the collection was inspired by “Charm School.”  Let me say that it WAS charming and much more.  It felt like Betty Draper was hosting a dinner party and I was dressed for the wrong decade! D*mnit! I must have missed the memo ;).  Erin and her collection were both so graceful.

We ended the night by attending the Sunglass hut party that fellow Utah Blogger Rach Parcell was co- hosting.  The tiny room was filled with balloons, drag queens, sunglasses and cool bloggers!  It was the perfect way to end the night….and luckily, my feet hadn’t fallen off yet!
