Welcome to a new week and a new post.  I know I have  mentioned this before, but I actually like Mondays.  Monday is like a fresh clean slate to get all the things done that you failed to the week before. Even better…it’s an opourtunity to do your best to be a better person.  I believe being your best self takes constant effort and is what the human spirit strives for during it’s earthly phase.

Ok, now lets talk fashion.  I am wearing a Shabby Apple Dana dress from their new line Pb Sands.  It’s what I call a “one shot wonder.”  A one shot wonder is one piece (dress or romper) that you can just throw on without a bunch of claustrophobic layers.  This dress is exactly that! One piece no fuss.  Thanks to January sales, all of the items above are under $150. Holla (I know holla is kind of an embarassing thing to say, but that is exactly why I do it)!  I love the Banana Republic cocoon coat I am wearing above, but I like the Chichwish one I linked even more (banana was sold out).  If you’re going to branch out and go with a printed coat, a check design is still a classic way to go.  The cocoon coat I am wearing in the pictures above is a little more out there. Lastly, I get ALOT of questions about the boots I am wearing in the photos.  Good news and bad….they are from Forever 21 and were dirt cheap…unfortunately they have been sold out for years.  To compensate, I linked a pair of Asos lace up booties that are equally awesome.

Guys, I am not sure if any of you track your calories, but I think it is a great (and somewhat depressing) way to hold yourself responsible for your daily fitness goals.  The Mira Fitness tracker bracelet that I am wearing above does just that and it looks great too! It’s designed to look like an actual piece of jewelry instead of a silly Rambo like armband.

Have a lovely week! I mean it.
