We shot this look from my balcony at The Capella Pedregal Resort in Cabo, Mexico. The view was insane! We would watch the sun set on the Pacific Ocean (on the right) and the sunrise over the Sea of Cortez (to the left) as often as possible. As I was working on really being present, I realized the sunset is the best show on earth…and it changes everyday….and it’s FREE!!! God is so good to us and I fail to fully recognize it sometimes, because it is routine and/or the “norm”. May sound cliche, but the best things in life really are free…

Speaking of free (ba-dum ching)…this look is under $150 head to toe (other than the Love bracket that I can’t remove and the fend cuff)! I love the combo of this bright and breezy Gentle Fawn dress and these killer Windsor Store lace up sandals! I have mentioned before that I am a stickler on faux leather shoes, but because of the print, they don’t look as cheap as they are (I love that). I also love that this dress can double as a swimsuit cover up. When traveling, it’s always good to have pieces that are multi purpose. You could easily rock this number with flat sandals as well. As far as the strappy gladiator sandals above go, you could wear these with jeans, shorts, dresses or anything really….just not undies, because that would be awkward (unless of course…).
