Fall is just around the corner and a prairie dress is one of the best transition pieces a woman can own. What is a prairie dress you might ask? This dress style comes in various materials and features high mock necks, florals, paisley prints, ruffles, tiers, and more. These dresses typically look fancier than they really thanks to the many puff-sleeves, balloon-sleeves, and romantic patterns. Also, they are comfortable to wear all day long and acceptable for a number of occasions and events. For those of you who are tired of denim and leggings in the fall, a prairie dress transitions so well from summer to the chilly months. I styled my dress with boots for a transitional look into fall. When the weather cools down, I’ll throw on a tight off-white turtleneck underneath.
