I cannot tell you how many compliments I get on this ASOS holiday peplum dress. Nobody anticipates me telling them that it was under $99! Anything peplum is almost always universally flattering. I have noticed that when I go to buy a peplum dress the larger sizes are usually sold old first, which tells me that they must work well on curves too.
I love the idea of this or any peplum dress styled with long leather gloves scrunched down and some sort of faux fur wrap. I am picturing a look from a 1960s Christmas party on the arm of Don Draper. HOT. If the retro vibe is too much for you, simplify it with a fitted cropped jacket and long pearls.
