Big thank you to the Montage Deer Valley for hosting my family and me.  Last week was our fall break and due to football games and my husband’s son leaving to serve his church on a two year mission, we weren’t able to go anywhere. Due to the special events happening on our family, we were just fine with that. Luckily we had a couple of days to escape to the Montage Deer Valley nestled in the mountains of Park City, Utah. It’s got to be one of the most beautiful/coziest hotels I’ve ever stayed at.

People come from all over the world to come ski Utah, so I consider myself very lucky to have easy access to such a beautiful ski resort/hotel.  However, if you think the Montage Deer Valley is only known for its incredible skiing, think again…

While we were on property we ate at three of their four restaurants, played video games, bowled in their game room/restaurant, swam indoors and out, played pool, visited with the resident dog Monty, watched movies and indulged in room service.  Although we did leave the property a couple of times, there is really no need to.  The kids where thoroughly entertained at the hotel.

When we did sneak away we went down to historic Main Street for a Ghost Tour. Before skiing and Sundance, Park City was a mining town, so the ghost stories were full of local history! What a fun way to celebrate Halloween.

If you’re a local or not, I highly recommend giving the Montage Deer Valley a go (hint: It’s much more affordable during the off season). One of my sons said it was the best fall break ever! Made that easy for me being pregnant and all.  No matter when you go, you’re going to feel pampered and have a great time!

For more memories check out our time at Sullivan’s Island in South Carolina.
