Hey everyone! Happiest Monday to all! Maybe that seems to enthusiastic for a Monday morning, but I’m trying to over compensate for the weekend being over 🙁 . Today I am sharing a cropped denim culotte by Olivia Palermo x Chelsea 28 for Nordstrom look with an awesome and affordable faux fur vest by sheinside.
If you haven’t noticed cropped denim and culottes are hotter than Mugatu’s steamy lattes! Lets be honest, culottes can be intimidating to try. They aren’t known for being the sexiest of fashions. But I have to say, if you’re gonna try them, this is the pair to try. They are somewhat high waisted and not overly tenty. They aren’t the widest culottes (which is a good thing). I think Olivia Palermo x Chelsea 28 did a great job keeping them as tailored and flattering as possible.
This faux fur vest from Sheinside gives this look the perfect amount of texture. When dressing, consider the elements of interior design. One of them being…hints of texture tend to balance out a room. I love having a few different faux fur items on hand for when I need that extra pop. It can make your look so much more interesting.
