Four Nights in Montecito

We love it there! Check out our last stay in Santa Barbara and what I wore here.

We had the pleasure of staying at The Ravenscroft Estate done by famed architect George Washington Smith.  It was one of the most magical places I have ever stayed.  The gardens were so charming! The kids (and adults) played in the pool, ran around the atrium and played on the tennis court all day long! It reminded me of my childhood when I’d wear my swimsuit for days. I know that’s kind of gross, but it was actually awesome! Kids playing, lots of good food and family made for an incredible four days.

Thanks to care.com and the magic of Tina (the baby whisperer), the adults got a couple of nights on the town.  We dined at The Lark near the ocean in Santa Barbara and everything was fantastic! I highy recommend it! As much as I LOVE The Biltmore Four Seasons in Santa Barbara, the food was highly average and the bill was highly priced.  I would go there to take pictures on the grounds/enjoy cocktails and dancing in the lounge.  It’s got a really fun nightlife scene, just skip the expensive restaurants.

I am currently collaborating with Nudwear.com.  It’s a swim and lingerie e-commerce site that specializes in detail and luxury loving women.  Honestly, I LOVE how transitional their pieces are.  For example, I decided to style this buttery soft slip dress (comes in 5 colors and on sale) as a dress.  The cool part is…I wore it to bed a few nights later.  Pieces like this are ideal for women who live in smaller spaces or travel a lot.  One and done! A slip dress is quickly becoming a modern girl’s closet staple, so make sure you grab yourself one.  It would be so cute over a white tee paired with booties.

I’ll be sharing a couple of other pieces from Nudwear.com over the next few weeks, so stay tuned.

Thanks for letting me share four nights in Montecito. Have a fantastic day! I mean it! xoxo

Such a vamp and feminine outfit with a cool edgy “twist” to it. 🙂
