Most Splurge worthy dress designer of Summer

One of my favorite brands of all time is Zimmermann. My husband always says “if you love it so much, why don’t you marry it” wah wah wah. Because of all of their soft feminine detailing, I am completely comfortable labeling Zimmerman the Most Splurge worthy dress designer of Summer. So naturally I am sharing this beautiful Zimmerman Divinity lace and polka dot dress with my favorite new black pumps by Ashley Cole.

I was fortunate enough to go to Australia a couple months ago. My husband goes there quite a bit for work and he would always invite me to join. I just couldn’t get over the idea of a 15 hour plane ride! This time around I decided it was the season of saying YES and trying new things, so I put my big girl pants on and took the trek (I am fully aware there are much worse problems out there). It was one of the most incredible trips I’d ever been on! The food, the people, the beauty….it was all magical!

Unfortunately I didn’t make much time for shopping. I was so into seeing everything that it just didn’t work out. However, on my very last day I took a very quick trip to the Westfield Mall in Sydney. Since Zimmermann is Australian and one of my favorite brands, I didn’t have a choice but to go in. Lucky for me the american dollar is quite strong there, so everything in the store was like 30% off to all Americans! I quickly snatched up this dress and the rest is history! As for the flight home….it felt sooo much longer than the flight there.

Ashley Cole is a designer shoe brand with a variety of incredible boots, flats, sandals and heels. Their pieces are chic and unique with a lot of attention to detail. I love these Ashley Cole Anita heels because they do the job that a regular black heel would do, but they’re so much more interesting. The way they scale up the back is so flattering.
